Introduction-
Saving ‘s & Investment are one of the vital
concept. People rely on this from the point of
view of future perspective. What people save &
invest today can be utilize for the future purpose.
Many times the purpose are certain many times
it is uncertain. Many times people thinks that
habit of savings are mostly associated with the
women .People have different mindsets at the
every stage of age for savings & investments.
However everyone wish to have safe secured &
liquid form of investments. Understanding the
pattern of behavior of the people from the point
of view saving & investment is necessary. As it
will help to analyze the practical approach of
the individual in current scenario.
Various studies shows the factors which
causes to change the behavioral pattern of the
investment. However many times the decision
of the investment is based on factors like choice
of investment, Time of investment ,amount of

Changing Role Human Resource Management(With Special Reference To Indian Banking Industry)
ABSTRACT :-
In globalization era the role of Banking in
India is tremendously increased since 2002.
In 1991 Government declared new Industrial
Policy according reformation is took place in
Indian Banking Sector.
In view of Indian Banking sector the role and
approach of workmen is directly co-relate with
the overall productivity and finally profitability of
Indian Banking Service Sector. The expectation
of Banking Customer have increased. New
generation Private Sector Banks and foreign
Banks have opened their branches have
increased their presence on the Indian Banking
Canvas. Naturally there is growth in the number
of employers in various Carrears. Adoption of
new technologies, greater use of Information
Technology has changed the composition of
the staff also. Since the globalization there
is cutthroat competition among the banks
and their profit margins are shrinking the old
traditional approach towards Human Resource
Management has to be changed to meet the
challenges of today. The problem before the
Human Resource Management is retaining the
competent staff. In this concept the authors
wanted to trace the changing Dimensions of
Human Resource Management in the Indian
Banking Industry. Almost in every aspect of
Human Resource Management there it may be
Recruitment, Negotiating Compensation training
Motivation in all those spheres the Human
Resource Management has to be innovative
and it should be an ongoing activity. The role of
trade union is gradually. Diminishing in the walk
of privatization. Therefore its confirmed that
Human Resource Management will be playing
a key role.

Energy Based Spectrum Detection using DPSS forCognitive Radios
Abstract – Due to limited spectrum available
for use and steady expansion in the field of
wireless applications, it has become necessary
to organize all the applications in the same
available spectrum. To provide a way out to the
trouble of inefficient spectrum usage, Cognitive
Radios (CR) are considered as a promising
solution. A cognitive radio organization has
the ability to perform spectrum sensing and
transmission modifications by itself. A foremost
detector put in for Thomson’s Adaptive Multi-
Taper Spectrum Estimation (AMTSE) has been
discussed here. The detector has been employed
for adapting itself to the maximum and minimum
values. As a result, the detection threshold
adjusts itself according to the environmental
changes. The signal after being linearly precoded,
is divided into small segments and the
Discrete Prolate Spheroidal Sequences (DPSS)
are multiplied with it in order to get better
and smooth spectrum for detection. In case
of the existence of a PU exists, the technique
of interference cancellation has been applied
for cancelling the interference. Whereas,
when the PU is not using the spectrum band,
the Secondary User’s (SU) transmitter can
detect the Channel condition as a result to the
channel mutuality, granting the permission to
use the free spectrum band by some other user
who needs it. An idea to calculate the energy
and detecting the availability of spectrum has
been proposed, which leads to reduction in
False Alarm Rate P(fa) and rise in probability
of detection P(d).

- INTRODUCTION
With rapidly progressing advancementsdemands of wireless applications, Cognitive - Radios (CR) are considered as an assuring solution
- for raising the productivity of the available
- spectrum. CR is a type of communication which
- is done wirelessly, where a transceiver smartly
- detects which interface tracks are being used and
- which are vacant, and quickly moves into empty
- channels, thereby bypassing the occupied ones.
- This switching technique is called dynamic
- spectrum management. CR allows unlicensed
- SU to access the licensed spectrum band.
Freedom of Religion in The Context of UniformCivil Code
Abstract:
Secularism is one of the goals which is
enshrined in the preamble to the Constitution
to achieve in the future. Article 44 of the
Indian Constitution talks about UNIFORM
CIVIL CODE which is actually step towards
the secularism, but Indian history shows that
politicians are not ready to give effect to this
provision keeping their interests safe aside.
The enactment on the uniform civil code should
really come into existence which would enhance
the spirit of brotherhood in India.
Introduction:
The Uniform Civil Code has become most
controversial issue in India due to its very
character. Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is the
legislation dealing with family matters like
marriage, divorce, inheritance, succession,
adoption, maintenance, guardianship, etc. But
main essence of this code is its applicability.
It applies to all persons irrespective of their
religion, caste, creed, birth, etc. Therefore, it
has become controversial issue because it goes
against personal laws. Thus, some sections
of the community are severely protesting the
enactment of UCC because they think that it
violates the freedom of religion, one of the
fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 25
to 28. The State cannot make any law which will
infringe fundamental rights and if it makes such
law, then it will be held as unconstitutional to
the extent of its contravention under Art 13(2)
by the judiciary. But really the UCC is violating
freedom of religion? It is not so because Indian
Constitution itself provides for enacting UCC
under Article 441 in Part IV of the Constitution
i.e. Directive Principles of State Policy. Thus
it has a Constitutional base. The directives
given in Part IV are not only directions but the
Constitution imposes duty on the State to make
laws on the matters given in Part IV.
Attitudes Towards Disabled Children : A QualitativeStudy in Rural Region of Maharashtra
ABSTRACT
Purpose: The majority of children
and young people with disabilities live
in developing countries where they
face inequalities in education and other
opportunities. Negative attitudes constitute
one of the major barriers to the development
of their potential.
The study aimed to describe the attitudes
of students without disability towards their
peers with disability, and to assess the role
that gender and interpersonal contact play in
shaping these attitudes.
Method: A cross –sectional study
involving 107 students was carried out in
secondary school located in rural area of
Maharashtra.
Participants were recruited from a group
of 118 students in the three junior classes
and senior class one. A semi-structured
questionnaire containing items on the

Multimodal Biometric Authentication for on-LineExamination : A Robust Approach
Abstract
Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) is not very expensive these days.
Assessment is a major issue in education but it
is one of the key activities in student learning.
Due to various advantages of Computer-Based
Testing (CBT) over the traditional paperpen
based testing, most of the universities or
colleges are now moving towards CBT. It led
to an increased concern about the security of
on-line examination. Traditional approaches to
the examinee authentication are not sufficient
to avoid misconduct of online examination.
This paper proposed a new framework of three
layers of security for examinee and two layers
of security for invigilators. Using our proposed
framework misconduct of on-line examination
will be reduced.
Introduction
In today’s era, learning capability with
concept understanding is judged by the mode
of examination in universities or colleges. The
Traditional way of examination process used in
universities or colleges is based on general paperpen
tests/examination are now slowly being
replaced by the online internet based testing
system. Assessment is a major issue in education
but it is one of the key activities in student
learning. Due to various advantages of Computer-
Based Testing over the traditional paper-pen
based testing, most of the universities or colleges
are now moving towards CBT. Influenced
by technological advances which are largely
progressed in learning and evaluation process
into invaluable educational resources those are
accessible remotely from scattering geographical
locations, beyond physical boundaries. The online
examination environments are likely to
be accessible, available, updatable, resource
efficient, economical and have been widely
adopted by a number of universities in various
disciplines.
Flaxseed : Medicinal Importance
Abstract – Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.)
is known to humans possibly for as long as 30
millennia and is used for at least 9 millennia.
The use of flax for the production of linen goes
back at least to ancient Egyptian times. It is a
good source of plant Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber
and other nutrients. Consumption of the oil
or seed has been reported to have beneficial
effects on cardiovascular health and in the
treatment of certain cancers and inflammatory
diseases. Flax seed is also used in animal feed
to increase levels of alpha-linolenic acid in
meat or eggs.
Keywords: Flax, Omega-3, Oil, Fibers, Linen.
Introduction – Flax fibers are amongst the
oldest fiber crops in the world. Dyed flax fibers
found in a cave in Dzudzuana (prehistoric
Georgia) have been dated to 30,000 years ago.
The use of flax fiber in the manufacturing of
cloth in northern Europe dates back to Neolithic
times. In North America, flax was introduced by
the Puritans3.
The flaxseeds are of medicinal and industrial
importance; its varieties are cultivated in over 20
countries. It is a good source of plant Omega-3
fat, fiber and other nutrients2.The bast fibers
obtained from the flax stem are made up of
remarkably long cells and are rich in crystalline
cellulose. They have a very high tensile strength
and are source of linen textiles, and their use in
composite materials is an area of active research.
Study of Management of Thyroid Swellings(A Study of 50 Pts With Thyroid Swellings)
The normal thyroid gland is impalpable. The
term goiter (Latin, Gutter = the throat) is used to
describe generalized enlargement of the thyroid
gland. It is a ductless gland. It is an unique gland
among all endocrine glands; it is the largest of all
endocrine glands, weighing about 25 grams It is
amenable to direct physical examination due to its
superficial location. The incidence of clinically
apparent thyroid swellings in general population
is 4-5%. Biosynthetic defects, iodine deficiency,
autoimmune disease, nodular disease can lead
to goiter, though by different mechanisms,
especially MNG (Multinodular goiter) which
is due to iodine deficiency is prevalent in India.
Grave’s disease and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
are also associated with goiter. In addition,
various forms of thyroid enlargement; physical
examination should prompt further evaluation
to identify its cause. More sensitive methods of
detection such as CT scan, thyroid ultrasound
and pathological studies reveal thyroid nodules,
reserving ultrasound for monitoring nodule size
or as an aid in thyroid biopsy. Otherwise, FNA
(Fine Needle Aspiration) cytology should be the
first step in the evaluation of a thyroid nodule.
FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) cytology has a
good sensitivity and specificity. The distinction
of benign and malignant follicular lesions is
often not possible using cytology alone. In this
study much emphasis is placed on the clinical
presentation of thyroid swellings and the role of
pathological investigations in the management
of thyroid swellings. Treatment modalities
of thyroid swellings depend on the clinical
presentation, investigations and pathological
evaluation of thyroid swellings.
IoT Enabled Toxic Gas Detection and SafetyRecommendation System
Abstract – Environmental pollution is a
major concern in developing countries. Ever
since industrialisation has begun, the percentage
of toxic gases in air has increased tenfolds. There
is a constant need for monitoring the increase in
toxic gas concentration and take certain steps to
combat the threat to environment. The existing
systems are restricted to hardware components
which only deals with toxic gas detection and
also do not have a mobile persepective. This
paper proposes an architecture that includes a
hardware device for detection of toxic gases as
well as a software system. This paper explains
the use of two data mining algorithms ,namely,
Bayes Theorem and K-Nearest Neighbor for
providing a safety recommendation solution
to the user. Experimental results show that the
proposed system is efficient and feasible in real
time environment.
Index Terms – IoT, sensor devices, , on-chip
sensors, bayesian process, k nearest neighbor,
human interface design.

Introduction –
Since Over’s & over years ago the US $ is
occupying the importance as major currency
.Even though many countries are developed the
US $ is playing the dominant role in the foreign
exchange market .In the period of 1980 the Euro
was trying to challenge the dollar. However it
is not able to compete with them because of its
overvaluation.
Need to analyze the status of ‘Virtual
Currency’-All over the globe the virtual
currencies are playing important role. The virtual
currencies are utilizing by the whole world for
the purpose of financial transaction. Virtual
currencies are growing due to the technology
& there is rising of potential in benefits. Some
